Is it possible to control content by time?

You can play content at defined time intervals. You are able to specify the period of time, the time of day, and the day(s) of the week that content should be played. If the time control settings are not active, then the content will play according to the predefined settings.

Note: The predefined settings when adding a new playlist is that there is no time restrictions in place.  If you would like to change this, please follow the instructions below.

When you click on the file and select "When shall the content be played?", you will see the following options:

  • "Always": content is played without restriction. Only when you delete the file from the Playlist or the Media Database, will it not be displayed.
  • "Content plays according to schedule": Here you can use the Calendar function to specify the individual time period during which this content should be displayed. If you would like to run on the content only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, simply ensure there is a check mark by these corresponding days.
  • "Never": The content is integrated into the Playlist but is not played.
